Definitely a reality I see frequently.
Many C-Levels wish to be visible online, but wonder about the impact of their words in the eyes of their company.
Many companies have taken action:
- Blocking access to social media platforms from office equipment 🚫
- Implementing stringent methods aimed at mitigating potential reputational risk 🔒
However, companies will never be able to prevent their talent from communicating if they want to or need to.
The keys provided in this article, which I believe to be appropriate, are
1) Invest in media training for talent
2) Ensure that talent and companies share the same values, not just skills
As long as talent and companies share common values, the journey of building a positive online presence will always be in sync!
